JASH Cast Iron Lapping Plates are extensively used for accurate hand lapping of metal parts to obtain a perfect oil tight fit.

Salient Features

  • Made from close grained plain cast iron conforming to grade FG: 220 of IS: 210 – 1978.
  • Castings stress relieved to relieve internal stresses.
  • Hand scraped surface finish.
  • Offered in square, rectangular and round sizes.
  • Constructional features of square and rectangular sizes similar to those of Cast Iron Surface Plates as per IS: 2285.
  • Flatness accuracy as mentioned in table underneath.
  • Plates up to 630 x 630 mm provided with handles for lifting. Larger plates provided with cored holes in peripheral ribbing for lifting by mechanical means.
  • Provided with 2 mm x 1 mm cross rectangular groves on top surface.
  • Supplied with Rexene cover for top surface protection.
  • Other sizes offered upon request.
